In honor of our number one male model Baptiste Giabiconi, branching out with his debut music video AND the news of Anna Wintour guesting on Diddy’s album, we thought it might be fun to look back at some of the other fashion stars who have shown up on MTV over the years.

Jean Paul GaultierHow Do You Do That?

Naomi Campbell Love & Tears

Primal Scream featuring Kate MossSome Velvet Morning

Which video is your favorite and can you think of any other instances of models or designers singing?

Karen Elson’s The Ghost Who Walks. One model who could actually sing and create exquisite music. Regardless of Jack White as her producer

I Like Kate’s The Best, I Can’t Think Of Any Other Models Who Have Sung Except The Ones “Zanita” Siad And Agyness Deyn’s Song With 5 O’Clock Heros But Thats It! But Models In Music Videos I Can Think Of.
Kate Moss – White Stripes – Just Don’t Know What To Do, Gemma Ward – John Mayer – Daughters, Behati Prinsloo – The Virgins – Rich Girls, And There Are Some Victoria’s Secret Ones In The Number One Video By Kanye West And Pharrell! Also It’s Not A Music Video But It Sort Of Is! – Jessica Stam, Ruslana Korshunova (R.I.P) And Shannan Click.

    Check this out…..

Milla Javovich is my other favorite obsession, besides Linda Evangelista. Definitely she’s a Renaissance Woman, lol. She’s definitely the Woman everybody should look up to. Actress, Singer, Supermodel, song writer, fashion designer, artist, business woman, A wife and a Mother. She’s also a wild child that survived the business…..
