October 15th, 2010 Janelle comments (16)With all the rock chicks and grunge kids Hedi Slimane shoots on a daily basis, sometimes it is easy to forget the innate elegance of his work. Hedi hasn’t picked up a needle and thread in awhile, but his latest story for Bazaar shows a bit of that old sophistication we used to love back when he was at Dior Homme. The polished black and white editorial Slimane creates, shows Georgia May Jagger looking seductive thanks to makeup by Yumi and an exquisite selection of clothes by Clare Richardson. The combination of youthful cool and all out luxury is instantly appealing and just right for the pages of Bazaar.

I completely agree with Garrett. I’ve always liked her, but these photos prove that she is more than just a novelty model of famous parents. I do, however, grow a bit tired of every shot being open mouthed. I love the gap, but I don’t think I’ve seen one shot of her with her mouth closed.

I haven’t really liked Georgia as a model. Although the pictures from Hedi make her look so much better, this selection seems is too repetitive, not sure whether she can really make it as a model. Seen the gap once, we get it; I don’t want to see it continuously.

The Gap never looked so good….
however if Miss Geogia May wants to be taken seriously as a model, she needs to be shot with her mouth closed.
Yes, she can give Gap Queen Lara Stone and run for the money, but Miss Stone can do more without showing us here teefs….
alas, Miss Georgia May, in all her suits has to remind us of her Gaps…. she slowly starts to resemble Bugs Bunny…. all she needs is a carrot and a pose!

I’m so sick of seeing Georgia Jagger doing the same face in every single picture, and she gets campaigns and editorials over much better models just because of her name. She is a beautiful girl but I really don’t think she’s a model yet
