Bright Stars
October 19th, 2010 Janelle comments (22)Makeup artist Diane Kendal and manicurist Yuna Park join forces to create a brightly colored beauty story for Vogue Italia. Shot by Craig McDean and styled by Edward Enninful, the off kilter images have an all star cast of cool faces and a youthful feel that keeps things interesting. Patricia van der Vliet, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Hannah Holman, Valerija Kelava, Dorothea Barth Jorgensen, Hailey Clauson and Gwen Loos all sport vivid lips and nails that seem tailored to their personalities and McDean’s expressive images.

I like it. I always love multigirl eds and studioshots.
I think Gwen looks the strongest and (although i don’t like her) Hannah looks quite decent too.
Other model in this editorial is Patricia van der Vliet. I already have seen some pics from her.

This editorial is actually really late 90s/early 00s style McDean. Especially the shots of Hannah and Valerija. Only back then the models would’ve been An Oost, Liliana Dominguez, Ann-Catherine…

Patricia + Hahhah + Gwen = weew! hehe
PS btw I’m so happy to see Valerija very often in this period, really…. I don’t love her to death for my generic taste, but she’s simply stunning lately. Btw, just for the record, my fav here is Hannah…

I love it anytime fashion and fine art integrate and this definitely looks like it could be hung in a gallery! The models all look gorgeous and packaged wonderfully by the styling team. The best part of this editorial is: there is such a variety of girls.

Gwen is unexpectedly the strongest. PvdV always shines, agree with Carola, she’s born for a beauty contract.
Hannah’s quite good as well. Generally underwhelmed by the haggard lighting really……
