Well Suited

Elissa Santisi loves a good pair of pants, no wonder the superstar stylist dressed Liu Wen in a series of gorgeous suits from the fall collections in the new Vogue China. Camilla Akrans shoots Liu in the latest menswear inspired looks from Chloe, Givenchy and more but fashion lovers may get a sense of deja vu with the Altuzarra shot – very Tom Ford for Gucci, no?

OMG so good, she looks brilliant in those suits. I love them, Raquel worked those suits out but this is even better. Liu is the best asian model.
R.I.P. Daul will never forget her.

well, there has been a lot of inspection of altuzarra’s asthetics. because they happen to really look like TOM FORD’s collections back in the day.

i forgot which blog was doing all the familiar comparison between TOM FORD’s and altuzarra’s collection

Inredible. Check out the angle-of-attack on that elbow….holy moly…
terminated in the most brilliant type of gestural fashion hand.

This is the most superb aerial capture that I’ve seen in quite a while…(last probably being Rianne ten Haken by Meisel for VI Nov. 09′-image with the purple hat*..drool)

Lu is giving Spike Spiegal a run for his Bebop!

The deafeningly thick silence reminds me of the Langoliers.

They look like classic American photographs you often find from the ’70s or ’80s. But this time around, an Asian is replacing the models who were often used at the time.
