Fresh off the heels of her Valentino campaign, Tati Cotliar debuts in two new editorials that put her talent for posing to good use. First up Ben Hassett‘s workout themed story for Vogue Germany, which focuses on sporty clothes shot in black and white. 10 Magazine takes Tati in a completely different direction, with a cool couture feature by Andrea Spotorno, that takes Tati all over Paris. Which story do you prefer?

Tati has one of the more interesting faces of the new guard of models. She reminds me a bit of Selma Blair. Both of these editorials are great. They are full of personality!

This girl is one of the first new girls in a long time to embody what it takes to be iconic.. the personality, the look, the body, the style. Go Tati… ! I love both stories by the way, they show her range.

Who moderates these forums? Why can’t anything critical ever be said? Tati is one of the models who I will never understand. She isn’t attractive in any sort of classic, or beautiful way. I can see her in Nylon or some other hipster, dirty, street cred magazine, but 10 and Vogue? REALLY? Is her personality THAT stellar?

Firstly these aren’t forums. If you would like a nice online forum I can give you a list. Secondly, there is no one person moderating the comments it is a group of people, I don’t know who held back your comment or what it said.

Third, maybe just maybe people look at models differently and others see something in Tati that you don’t. You don’t have to be classically beautiful to be a model – there are plenty of classically beautiful girls who do absolutely nothing in a picture because they have nothing to give. Tati has an amazing personality, but she is also a good model who gives a great deal of energy to her pictures and comes on set with a great attitude, a willingness to collaborate and a lot of spirit. Those are the things that make a girl stand out from the pack because modeling is a job and if you don’t do the work you don’t make it.

Lastly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you’re seeing a girl in a major magazine odds are someone finds them beautiful, personally I think Tati has a great look, if you don’t then hey different strokes.

Tati is not attractive? what? She’s got the attractiveness of a rebel angel who fell from the sky to make us all talk about her, and she is soooo delicate and well said, ICONIC.

im not saying that shes not a good model or something, i like her. but, what i am definately interested in is what exactly you find so iconic? i mean, to compare a model with lara… there must be some good reason. and just to be honest and personally i cannot see a good reason for that. so what makes her soooooo nice/special to you???

Tati!!! Such a cool girl. I have this theory that someone who looks different in every photograph is the real deal, the really beautiful one. I’ve only seen this with a few models, and I’m not talking about hair or makeup or clothes or setting, just someone whose face photographs differently all the time, and Tati is it. Hopefully she won’t be a flavor of the month.

i love her look, its refreshing. shes got a grittiness about her thats unlike most of the girls out there right now.
