June 18th, 2010 Betty comments (4)The S/S 11 Men’s shows started off with an early bang as Jil Sander broadcast live yesterday at Pitti Uomo. A glorious green Tuscan garden provided the perfect backdrop and contrast to the eye-popping collection. Not since June 2009 has Raf Simons made such a statement with bold color like this. Â If there’s one brand who can do color right and still keep it pristine, it’s most definitely Raf for Jil. Check out the runway video here on Jil Sander’s site.

the runway was awesome, loved the bright colors and the shorts … the suits looked very Dior Hommer but gorgoues too — I WANT IT ALL

The production was very good, but the clothing was very ordinary, even thought the colors looked good. I detected the influence of Missoni in some of the pieces.
