The Dark Arts
June 14th, 2010 Betty comments (29)Though it may just be June, Fall/Winter 10 campaign images are starting to materialize. Visually, black and white or a predominant black background seems to be the preferred choice for fall (unsurprisingly) and from these four images, it looks like the handsome man is favored for the upcoming season joining the sexy girl. What’s your favorite campaign so far?

Dsquared2 F/W 10 by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Tyler Kenyon, Iris Strubegger, Alla Kostromichova .

Clement Chabernaud for Gianfranco Ferre F/W 10.

Roman Ivancic, Vladimir Ivanov, Bette Franke for Lacoste F/W 10

Jon Kortajarena, Alexa Chung, Gaspard Menier for Pepe Jeans F/W 10

DSquared2 campaigns are always off the chain, and this season is no exception! http://www.chungkitblog.wordpress.com

I think Clement has so much charm, and is so debonair. Hope he has more for FW10.

I don’t like Dsquared² because Iris is too much in the center and i don’t like her. They better use Alla more and cut out Chanel.
MDC you should also post Sonia Rykiel with Katie F and Anna de Rijk.

Love the Lacoste campaign, it’s a completely new look for them, but a natural evolution from their previous campaigns. Genius.

Dsquared2 does have good campaigns, and all though this one feels sexy, I have to admit it has a Dolce&Gabbana feel. And I have a soft spot for Clement Chabernaud but in my opinion this isn’t one of his best poses.

The D2 is unusual with really good lighting: a very clever shoot. The other ones look kinda ordinary in comparison with a 60s 80s vibe.

Mr Chabernaud looking very VERY sexy! He´s all grown up after 3 years; that´s what a good model management is all about.

I completely disregarded the fact that Tyler Kenyon was naked in the DSquared2 campaign, it seems so normal now. But anyways, it’s one of my favorites! <3

DSquared: mmm… it’s ok… reminds me so much of what Steven Klein did for Dolce & Gabbana a few years back… from the color to the mood and positioning of the models…
Ferre: standard…
Lacoste: …
Pepe: interesting… very lifestyle… continuing the attitude of the jeans’ house..

I thought Klein did the first shot, and Chad White was showing off assets. Oh, where are my classes.

Dsquared just cannot do no wroung imo. forget the ass, the rest of the photos from that campaign are flawless.
Best one of the four,by far.
