Whiskered Catwoman inspired boot by Roger Vivier for Colette.
Fashion’s recent fascination with comics started back in 2008, with the Metropolitan Museum‘s Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy exhibit. Flash forward to 2010 and it looks like there’s no end to the craze with Colette collaborating with Karl Lagerfeld and other major designers, for a special Superheroes collection, celebrating 75 years of DC Comics. Our favorite just may be the Catwoman Roger Vivier boots. Meow!
Other designers include Alexis Mabille for The Joker, Balmain and Lanvin for Batman, Sonia Rykiel and Maison Michel for Wonder Woman, Pierre Hardy and Julien David for Superman, Thierry Lasry for Plastic Man, Repetto for Flash. (via DFR)

I too loved that editorial.
And I L-O-V-E Catwoman…
(La Pfeiffer most notably)
I caught the Superheroes exhibit @ the Met on the very last day… and got into a bit of a kerfuffle with the security guards as I unapologetically snapped a photo of my cat mistress!
This particular image above of Coco is just one of the most perfect images!
