May 25th, 2010 Janelle comments (18)Russh never fails to deliver an inspiring cover concept and this month’s issue, featuring the lovely Ieva Laguna and the iconic Tony Ward, is a sight to behold. The sexy shots by Will Davidson are colorful, kinetic and filled with incredible styling by Stevie Dance. The energy that the entire team brings to the story can be felt in each picture; Christian McCulloch‘s vivid makeup highlights Ieva’s pristine look and Leonardo Manetti‘s hair creations seem just right, even as the models are being doused with paint.

Amazing! This ed is magic – the chemistry is obvious, the colors are fantastic, and they both look great. I totally agree that Ieva is a star!

To my surprise, I actually like her. She’s far more interesting than the likes of Karlie/Jac/Frida etc. I’m pretty sure Leva is in the Rogue Coco lipstick campaign and she’s also the model in the current Fred Perry ads. She’s nothing special on the runway, but I really like her in print.

tony ward is only iconic because Herb Ritts photos were iconic , apart from that he isn’t very good looking , i don’t understand how he books these things?!?!?
