Zombieland

October 31st, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

Just in time for tonight’s fright fest, Jeff Bark provides a chilling fashion tale in the pages of Dazed & Confused. What could be scarier than surburbia? Bark and Robbie Spencer create a tongue in cheek take on zombie horror with a cheeky pictorial centered around Halloween housewives. The talented team of Bark, Spencer and Rick Gradone handling hair and makeup, go the extra mile to transform Linn Arvidsson, Anouk Hagemeijer, Lena Hardt, Irene Hiemstra, Larissa Hofmann, Clara Nergardh and Jamily Wernke Meurer into a gang of zombiefied beauties on the hunt for designer goods, purple lipstick and of course human flesh.

Head on over to Dazed Digital to see the full feature including adorable interviews with the girls, even more pictures and some killer styling

Living Doll

October 31st, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

Photographers never miss an opportunity to capture Lindsey Wixson‘s doll-like features and in the pages of the new Vogue Japan Emma Summerton expertly shoots Lindsay for a thrilling story that harks back to the story of Anastasia. Styled by Giovanna Battaglia utilizing richly detailed pieces from Duro Oluwu and Dolce & Gabbana, the images are a thrilling showcase for some of the season’s most extravagant fashions. Sporting rouged cheeks by  Mathias van Hooff and stylized hair by Neil Moodie, Lindsay looks surreal and sumptuous.

Anna Rises

October 30th, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

It is easy to see why Anna Ewers is the most wanted girl of the moment. The German beauty has a pristine appeal that calls to mind Deutschland favorites like Toni Garrn and Claudia Schiffer. Classic beauty is always great, but nothing beats a girl with the look and the ability to bring it in front of the camera. Since her stellar show season (check out her Top 10 Newcomer story) Anna has been making a splash in the pages of Vogue Paris, CR Fashion Book, British Vogue and the latest Prada campaign – an impressive lineup for any model, but a breakout series of bookings for a girl fresh on the scene.

First Lady

October 29th, 2013 |Posted by Janelle

The most surprising thing about W Magazine‘s FLOTUS inspired fashion story starring Naomi Campbell is that it took so long to appear. MIchelle Obama has been global tastemaker for years so it seems only natural that one of the industry’s leading publications would find editorial inspiration in her signature style. Willy Vanderperre‘s photographs always have a quiet beauty and his style works well here, while Edward Enninful perfectly captures Mrs. Obama’s streamlined sophistication with his styling. Using a mix of demure pieces from Nina RicciGiorgio ArmaniPrada and Dior, Enninful creates a wardrobe fit for a first lady. As always Naomi is a pro in front of the camera and radiates poise in every shot.

Who can resist a Grey Gardens tribute! Steven Meisel re-creates the grandeur and despair of Edie Beale’s life for the latest Vogue Italia. With Ashleigh Good sporting the signature Beale headscarf and an eclectic wardrobe of winter hits selected by Marie-Amélie Sauvé in the chic cover story. Wearing chubby furs, mixed prints and an array of luxe accessories Ashleigh looks better than ever – even as she sheds a tear and blows out her birthday cake on her own.
