The Authority

August 23rd, 2012 |Posted by Janelle

The shoulder pads, the layers, the luxurious excess and sexiness of power dressing are brought to life in Vogue Germany in a spirited story by Knoepfel & Indlekofer starring Kasia Struss. Clad in oversized suiting separates selected by Nicola Knels, Kasia is a vision of feminine authority and innate chic – simply put, the girl’s got it and K&I capture her at her best.

Beauty Rebel

August 20th, 2012 |Posted by Janelle

We love a magazine with a distinctive point of view and brand new biannual Beauty Rebel, is as distinctive as it gets. With a focus on all things beauty and the endless allure of cosmetics, stunning makeup and amazing hair, the glossy rejects overly photoshopped imagery in favor of the glamour of the 70s, 80s and even the 90s supermodel era. Who better to appear on the cover than ultimate fashion rebel, Daphne Guinness, who pays tribute to another legend, the late, great Hedy Lamarr.

Inside an array of beauty centric content from behind the scenes shots of top models, to fresh editorials featuring inventive hair and makeup is certain to delight.

Kerr by Bloom

August 20th, 2012 |Posted by Janelle

Miranda Kerr by Orlando Bloom for The NY Times T Magazine

It is not every day that a budding supermodel is featured in an editorial shot by her movie star husband – though we wish these things did happen more often. Can someone please instruct Leonardo Dicaprio on the art of photography… In the NYT piece Kerr heads to New Zealand to accompany Bloom as he films The Hobbit and she brings a slew of goodies with her from Altuzarra, Phillip Lim & Brooks Brothers.
