Wear With All

November 30th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

The latest issue of Qvest, features the always intriguing Irina Lazareanu on its cover wearing a what appears to be a technicolor fur hat and matching pink blazer. On another model, this combination would be outrageous but as always, Irina makes it work. Henrik Bulow‘s colorful pictures and Simon Rasmussen‘s eclectic styling, combine to create a story that captures Irina at her most versatile: dressed in neon wigs, gift wrap, packing tape and loads of Margiela, Irina shows she can make absolutely anything look compelling.

Hair Raising

November 26th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

There is nothing like a bit of beauty to brighten things up: looking at Daniel Jackson‘s pristine photos from the latest Vogue Nippon, we were instantly struck by the amazing artistry behind the hair and makeup. The hair-raising looks created by Didier Malige, are nothing short of amazing. Beauties, Julia Hafstrom, Sharon Kavjian and Kamila Filipcikova, wear tri-color bouffants and up-dos with flair. Add in Gucci Westman‘s dramatic makeup (check out the amazing drawn on eyebrows) (and Alastair McKimm‘s styling) and you have the making of a spectacular beauty story.

La Vie En Pose

November 24th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

The new issue of Tush Magazine, is all about high octane glamour. Txema Yeste‘s photographs, show a new side of Katie Fogarty, casting the All-American beauty as a femme fatale. The ultra-chic theme is pushed even farther by Belén Casadevall‘s dynamic styling: we would have never thought to layer Blumarine and Alaïa but it works perfectly.

Sexy Back

November 24th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Love him or hate him, Terry Richardson knows how to get your attention. His oft imitated but never duplicated style is sexy and memorable, and for the 2010 Pirelli calendar, Richardson brings a touch of cheekiness and sensuality with his snapshots of scantily-clad beauties. Whether it is the ethereal, Georgina Stojiljkovic posing with a very happy sloth or Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Marloes Horst looking pristine on white sand beaches; each picture is provocative yet playful.
