Forever Amber

January 21st, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

Amber Valletta remains one of fashion’s most consistently in demand faces. With her refined presence and classic looks Amber has long been one of the defining representatives of elegance. With two new campaigns out for S/S 09 Amber proves that she is still the go to girl for avant garde grace. Mert and Marcus unleash Valletta’s inner sexpot for Iceberg while for Loewe Amber is a cooly aloof lady of the manor as imagined by Steven Klein – the ads showcase two very compelling sides to a model who continues to bring something fresh to the table.

New Ad-Ventures

January 15th, 2009 |Posted by Janelle

With every new campaign comes another intriguing take on how to represent what is fashionable. With three new campaigns knocking on our door we are treated to three very different depictions. The look of Kenzo is otherworldly and bohemian, Mario Sorrenti shoots as Guinevere Van Seenus and Magdalena Frackowiak, take center stage in the woodsy ads with a decidedly trippy feel.

Les Copains is all about slick polished glamour. Kate Somers is transformed from delicate ingenue to full on glamour girl in the sleek, slick ads – proving once and for all that within every coquette lurks a true diva.

Humor is in fashion for Giuseppe Zanotti, Anja Rubik wears the line’s legendary stilettos as she toys with sundaes, ice cream cones and milkshakes. When you’re one of the world’s most coveted faces, being shot by Inez & Vinoodh, life is sweet indeed.
