The new beauty in the Boss ads (suddenly everywhere) is Chris Austad (Public Image Worldwide). Casting director Andrew Weir found the fresh face perfectly symmetrical in face and body and ideal for the crisp Boss image.

The Imagist previews Frillr‘s Dsquared2′ coverage. Fashion fans around the world sit up and take notice that the majority of the models in the show were of “color”. Tyson Beckford, actor and one of a handful of male supermodels known to the average person, opened the show. Also, excitingly is the rumor of an all ethnic lineup at Lanvin. “Change” in fashion seems happening as we speak!

Fresh from her spot atop MDC’s own Top 10 Newcomers list Ford Model’s Kate Somers graces the pages of this month’s Teen Vogue. Shot by Horst Diekgerdes and styled by Beth Fenton, the shoot showcases the leggy Canadian in the latest preppy collegiate chic.

With a whirlwind F/W season behind her and a slew of editorials to come we can’t help but be reminded of that other Ford Supermodel of the Year runner up whose career hit the stratosphere after appearing in Teen Vogue – so much for second place.
